What do you do?
I practice primarily in the area of family law and my practice encompasses all aspects of family law, such as property division, support, child custody, access and the drafting and negotiation of domestic contracts. I represent clients in litigation and in negotiations and various forms of alternative dispute resolution. I work closely with clients through each step of the legal process and offer practical and creative solutions to complex problems and vehemently work to protect my client’s rights in family law disputes. I evaluate the pros and cons of each step with my clients to help them make decisions that will be most favourable to their unique situation and circumstances in order to obtain the best results possible, while also being a strong and zealous advocate for them.
What are your strengths?
My background in family law enables me to provide effective service to my clients. I am also extremely empathetic, compassionate and understanding towards my client’s needs during a very vulnerable and emotional time in their lives, and do what I can to alleviate that stress as much as possible. I work hard to make my client’s feel heard and understood. I also believe that communication is key in maintaining a strong client-solicitor relationship, and seek to ensure that my clients are completely informed and understand the legal process every step of the way.
Activities outside of work:
I enjoy hiking, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
