A native of Montreal, Marc completed his undergraduate studies at Concordia Univeristy where he graduated with honours with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2004. He attended law school at the University of Ottawa where he earned his LLB in 2008. Marc became a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2009 and joined the Law Scoiety of Alberta in 2014.
Marc articled with a national firm in Ottawa where he focused primarily on coporate law and litigation. In 2013 he decided to focus his attention on the practice of family law. Although experienced in all areas of family law, Marc has particular experience in financial matters, having spent his first three years in family law at a firm which specialized in the division of complex matrimonial estates. Marc also has experience in matters of complex income determination including instances where dividends, capital gains, performance-based bonuses and deferred compensation packages are at issue.
Marc appreciates that going through a separation can be emotionally and psychlogocally taxing for the people involved. Marc is passionate about helping his clients reach closure while working hard to assure that they are aware of all of their options prior to making any decisions.
When not in the office, Marc splits his time between a number of interests which includes volunteering his services with Calgary Legal Guidance. Marc is also accomplished photographer whose landscape and night photography have been displayed in a number of showcases, including at the Calgary Stampede and the Exposure Photography Festival.
