Jacqueline is an Associate with HART Legal practicing in the areas of Family and Criminal Law as well as Estate Litigation.  Jacqueline represents clients dealing with separation, divorce, adoption, custody and access matters in addition to accused individuals facing criminal charges and traffic offences.  She also assists clients working with child welfare organizations. 

Before starting at HART, Jacqueline practiced in Ontario both in the above areas and assisted parties in court in her role as duty counsel.  Jacqueline further helped parties via the Family Law information Centre, such as assisting them with the drafting, filing and serving of court documents. 

In addition to her legal practice, Jacqueline was most recently the Independent Chairperson for a medium/minimum federal institution in Ontario where she presided over Major Court. 

Prior to commencing her law practice, Jacqueline garnered extensive experience working in various community, social service and government agencies.  Jacqueline obtained her Master of Social Work degree in Ontario.  She brings a social justice/public interest background to understanding client issues and delivering legal services.  

Called to the bar in Ontario in 2010 and in British Columbia in 2019, Jacqueline is a graduate of law school in Ontario where she received the highest academic standing in Family Law.
