Chantalle Sawision obtained her B.A (Honours, Legal Studies) from Sir Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo, Ontario. Ms. Sawision’s undergraduate experience included two semesters abroad through the University of Toronto, studying European integration in Berlin and comparative politics and law in Tuscany. It was during this time that Ms. Sawision solidified her commitment to dispute resolution, particularly conflict resolution and mediation.
Ms. Sawision went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Bond University Law School. Based on her focused academic background and exceptional grades, she was offered an Entrance Bursary from the Legal Department. After being called to the Ontario Bar, she articled with the reputable firm in Toronto’s Financial District and went on to become an Associate Lawyer and Notary Public. Since that time, Ms. Sawision has practiced in the area of family law, specifically dealing with child custody and access issues, child and spousal support issues and the negotiation and litigation of financial issues. A skilled negotiator and advocate, Ms. Sawision has helped numerous clients reach satisfying settlements and successfully argued on behalf of her clients on a variety of family law issues.
In addition to her role as an advocate, Chantalle Sawision is also experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution and has assisted parties in reaching fair and reasonable settlements in an amicable and cost-effective manner. Chantalle Sawision also has experience in drafting wills and dealing with cross-border issues.
